Sara's role in the organization as a fundraising coordinator is to help raise funds to support our animals. Animal well-being comes first, and that means focusing on health, safety, happiness, and ultimately adoption! Keeping fostering free and adopting fees competitive and affordable all while covering vet treatments and supplies means that fundraising plays a big role in the organization. Together with Jen, Sara is committed to funding the rescue so we can bring our best to the community. Sara also designs social media posts including fundraising promotions, foster and adoption posts, event posts, stories, and more.

Sara is currently a student in the Administrative Information Management program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. She also works as an Administrative Assistant for the Western Canada High School Band Program and as an Administrative Assistant for the kid's therapy company Play in the Sun Inc. Shockingly, she has no pets or foster animals, but hopes to change that in the future...
