Meet Yoko! Yoko is a young, small bundle of love with a playful spirit and a snuggly heart. She lives with five small dogs in her foster home and absolutely loves having dog friends to romp around with. Playtime is one of her favorite things, but once she’s burned off some energy, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for cuddles. She walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and enjoys her daily strolls. Yoko has medium-to-high energy and would thrive in a home where she gets regular playtime, enrichment, and companionship. A young, playful small dog in her forever home would make her very happy, as she really blossoms with a canine buddy by her side. Yoko adores her people and prefers when someone is home most of the time. She can free roam when left alone but is happiest when she’s part of the action. She may bark when someone knocks at the door, just doing her little watchdog duties! She can be nervous in new situations and around larger dogs, and vet visits are still a work in progress. With patience, consistency, and continued positive experiences, she continues to build confidence.
