Meet Victor! Victor is a loving, playful guy with a big heart and an even bigger appreciation for companionship. He’s the kind of dog who thrives with a buddy, whether that’s a confident canine sibling or a human who enjoys sharing adventures and downtime alike. In foster care, Victor has been living with a large Rottweiler and the two are best pals. They play hard (tug-of-war is a favorite!), nap together, and keep each other company. Victor is thoughtful in his play, if things get a bit too rowdy, he’ll pause, assess, and then happily jump back in when he’s ready. That same awareness carries over into other parts of his personality. Victor enjoys walks, time outside, toys, treats, and snuggling up at the end of the day. He has a medium energy level and would be thrilled with daily walks, outdoor time, and the occasional adventure. Once he’s in the car, he’s an excellent traveler, making him a great candidate for hiking trips, road trips, or weekend getaways. He’s done well with cats, is gentle with bigger dogs, and would do best in a home with children who understand giving a dog space to warm up. Victor prefers meeting new people on his own terms, slow, respectful introductions help him shine. Once he’s comfortable, he’s affectionate, loyal, and very sweet. Victor is smart and learning quickly. He’s nearly house trained, lets you know when he needs to go out, and continues to build confidence every day. He can be a little vocal when playing or when someone knocks at the door, but otherwise settles nicely into home life.
