Meet Jimmy! Jimmy is a 10-month-old sweetheart with a gentle soul, a playful spark, and a very strong desire to be close to his people. Once Jimmy feels safe, he forms deep bonds and happily becomes your shadow, whether that means following you from room to room, curling up beside you while you work, or snuggling into bed at night. He enjoys daily walks and loves taking his time to sniff and explore the world around him. Jimmy especially likes his morning and evening walks, which help him feel settled and confident. Playtime is another favorite: fetch, chase, and toy games are all big hits, especially when treats and praise are involved. Food is a great motivator for Jimmy, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Jimmy has lived with another dog and clearly enjoys canine company. He gravitates toward dogs who are confident, playful, and unfazed by close companionship, he’s very much a “personal space is optional” kind of guy. That said, Jimmy could also thrive as an only dog in a home where someone is around often and happy to give him lots of connection. New environments, new people, and unfamiliar situations can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but Jimmy just needs a little time to warm up. Give him a few days, and his affectionate, silly personality shines through. He takes treats gently, enjoys pets all over, and loves being near his trusted humans. Jimmy is still working on house training and building comfort with time apart, so a patient, supportive home will help him continue to grow.
