Meet Frida! Frida is a gentle, sensitive girl who just needs a little time and patience to let her true personality shine. She can be unsure in new situations and with new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes a loving cuddle bug who enjoys being close to her person. At home, Frida is calm and easygoing. She’s happy relaxing nearby, often snoozing next to or on her favorite human. When the mood strikes, she also enjoys playful bursts of energy, zooming around the house or chewing on her favorite toys. Frida currently lives with another dog and has done well overall, even trying to engage in play. A confident canine companion could be helpful for her as she continues building confidence. She’s still working on house training and gaining comfort with walks and new environments. Frida will do best with a patient family who understands that confidence building takes time and is willing to go at her pace. A calm home with older children (or adults) who can respect her boundaries would suit her best. Despite her shy nature, Frida has so much love to give.
