A daily walk of about an hour, plus playtime and mental stimulation, keeps her happy and settled. When her needs are met, she’s content to curl up beside you while you work or relax, proving she’s just as good at cuddling as she is at adventuring. This smart, curious girl is fully house trained, takes treats enthusiastically, and walks well on leash, though the occasional squirrel may momentarily steal her focus. She’s comfortable being handled, enjoys being brushed, and sleeps well in her crate overnight, happily resting for 8–9 hours. Dakota does best in a moderately active home where she gets regular interaction and companionship. She’s very people-focused and prefers not to be left alone for long periods.
