Vin has spent the last few months raising Elend, Sazed, TenSoon and Kelsier. We realize this is a complete disaster from a Mistborn continuity standpoint. It has, however, worked out beautifully for the cats. She's been an exceptional mother, fiercely devoted to her kids, but now that they're becoming independent, we're finally getting to know the woman behind the legend. And it turns out she's quite delightful! Vin is sweet, curious, playful, and occasionally chatty. She enjoys attention, especially scratches behind her ears, and has a weakness so profound that we're almost concerned about revealing it publicly: Churu. Seriously. If you're looking to buy her loyalty, the going rate is approximately one tube of puréed chicken. She also appreciates a good vantage point. While her namesake could simply Steelpush her way onto a rooftop, our Vin would prefer you provide a decent cat tree. She's not unreasonable. Vin is a friendly, affectionate girl, although she does appreciate people who have some manners. Come in calmly, say hello, and she's lovely. Come barging in like a koloss, and she may decide she has somewhere else to be. Frankly, we respect that. She's spent so much time focused on her children that we're still discovering little pieces of her personality, and we're looking forward to seeing what she gets up to when she's officially off mom duty. Vin would do well in a home with plenty of elevated spaces, people who appreciate her personality, and preferably no tiny children. She doesn't need another cat, although she could adapt to a feline roommate with proper introductions. Dogs remain a bit of an unknown. She's raised her crew. She's done her duty.
