Meet Carmine! Carmine is a soft, gentle little soul who is learning what it means to feel safe and cared for. She’s a quiet, sweet girl who takes her time getting comfortable, but once she does, she shows her affection in the most tender ways, soft purrs, gentle cuddles, and staying close to the people she trusts. Carmine has had a rough start to life and has recently been through multiple surgeries, so she’s still very much in a healing and rediscovery phase. Because of this, her foster family believes her true personality is still unfolding. What is already clear is that she is kind, sensitive, and deeply loving when approached with patience and calm. She enjoys peaceful observation, cozy resting spots, and gentle play. Cat tunnels are her absolute favourite, and she also enjoys quieter toys like finger traps. Carmine loves soft places to nap, whether that’s her kitten couch or a cherished blanket, and appreciates a calm environment where she can relax and feel secure. Carmine would do best in a quiet, low-key home. Fast movements, loud noises, and unfamiliar people can be scary for her, so a home that moves slowly, speaks softly, and lets her set the pace will help her continue to blossom. She allows brushing, enjoys gentle affection (especially face pets), and is slowly building confidence every day. Carmine has already come such a long way, and with love, patience, and understanding, she has so much more to give.
