Salix

Introducing the elegant and regal Salix. This striking beauty is all about the humans. She absolutely loves human attention: fur stroking, brushing, cuddling, and everything in between. If it involves quality human time then Salix is all in.

What does Salix mean? Salix, from the Latin, is a genus of shrubs and trees of which the willow is part of! You guessed it. Salix came to FFARS with the name Willow originally. Originally hailing from Manitoba, Salix was renamed on arrival to FFARS. (Fun facts with FFARS.) 

Salix would love nothing more than to spend her days lazily lounging in a cat tree, watching the birds twitter outside, and occasionally coming to her human for pets, cuddles, and endless fur strokes. Wet cat food to round out the day would also be divine.
