Meet Oakley, the playful and lovable two-year-old pup who’s looking for his forever family! This sweet boy loves being active, and his favorite things include fetching, chasing toys, and enjoying the great outdoors. Oakley is great with older kids and other dogs, and he would thrive in a home where he can always be out and about, hanging out with the family and enjoying time with teenagers. He’s a dog who loves being part of the action and is always ready for a good game or some quality time with his people.

Oakley is strong on the leash—think sled dog vibes—so he’ll need an owner who is experienced and ready to work with him on his leash manners. He has a few challenges to work through, like fixating on small animals, lunging at other dogs on walks, and dealing with some separation anxiety and excessive barking. But with the right guidance and plenty of patience, Oakley has so much potential. He’s incredibly treat and food motivated, making him an excellent candidate for positive training. Oakley loves to be petted and is happiest when he’s surrounded by his family, soaking up attention and having fun.
