Meet Holly, a 1-year-old Maltese/Spaniel mix who’s pure sunshine on four paws. Weighing in at just over 11kg, this small-but-mighty ball of fluff and energy made the journey from the streets of Mexico to Calgary in search of a home that can keep up with her zoomies and cuddle sessions. This girl’s got energy to spare and love to share. She’s happiest when she’s on the move chasing toys, digging in the dirt, or running joyful laps around a secure backyard. Holly needs a home with a fenced yard where she can sprint, sniff, and sunbathe to her heart’s content. An active family that enjoys regular walks, hikes, or outdoor fun would be a dream come true. She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to leashes (after all, they don’t really have those on the streets), but she’s a smart cookie who’s picking it up quickly. She's also doing great in her foster home with two other small dogs and adores playing, snuggling, and forming the cutest little trio. She’s crate trained, has been left alone for a few hours with no issues, but she'd really prefer a home where someone is around most of the day. Working from home? She'll be your fuzzy coworker. Noise can spook her, and she may take a little time to warm up to new people or situations. But once she’s comfortable, her gentle, affectionate side shines through like morning sunshine.
