Meet Chiquis! Chiquis is the definition of sweet and easygoing. This gentle little girl is happiest when she’s close to her people, whether that’s lounging on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up scratches and bum pats first thing in the morning. She has a lovely balance of playful and calm energy. Chiquis enjoys running around outside, playing with other dogs, and chasing toys, but she’s equally content spending the afternoon sunbathing in the yard or curled up beside you for a nap. She’s currently living with another foster dog and does wonderfully, enjoying both playtime and cuddle sessions together. Chiquis is fully house trained, quiet in the home, and walks nicely on leash, unless a squirrel or critter catches her attention. She absolutely loves being outside and would thrive in a home with a secure yard where she can sniff, explore, and lounge in the sunshine to her heart’s content. While she does well with dogs, Chiquis is not suitable for a home with cats or other small animals due to her prey drive. She would also likely do best in a home without very small children, simply because she can get excited during playtime.
